Delia Smith has been named as the patron of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. Sir Bobby lost his battle with cancer in 2009 and his wife Mrs Smith has been helping the charity since his death.
She had asked a small group of friend to help her with this and Delia, was one of those people who very kindly agreed to help.
They held an auction in October which raised a total of £47,000 in one night and it has been said that the Sir Bobby Robson charity has now raised over £4m.
